20+ years of women’s stories
NoMiWoman began in 2003 as Grand Traverse Woman Magazine, which later became Northern Michigan Woman Magazine. For more than 20 years, it shared the stories of women throughout the region. Today, that same spirit lives on in the gatherings and conversations that connect women across our community.

Kerry Winkler
kerry@northernmichiganwoman.comBorn and raised in Traverse City, Kerry founded Grand Traverse Woman Magazine in 2003 and has spent more than two decades bringing local women together. Along the way, she has helped women grow their businesses through workshops, online courses, and business masterminds.
Today, Kerry leads the NoMiWoman community and works one-on-one with Northern Michigan businesses and nonprofits as a marketing strategist.
