Northern Michigan Woman Magazine is a community for women and by women. We publish a bimonthly magazine that can be found on local newsstands, and will also arrive in your inbox! We strive to serve women on all fronts – business, health, home, family, inspiration and more. We also hold networking events and women’s groups to serve you and help connect women in the area. The main goal for our women’s networking groups is to always have a fun way to get together, learn about others in the community, meet new friends and stay connected.

Northern Michigan is also a proud member investor of Traverse Connect.

Northern Michigan Woman Magazine also serves as a vehicle to reach a powerful consumer audience: women! Learn more here on how we can help your business reach decision-makers for their business, their homes and families. Interested in writing an article? Check out the information here.

Kerry is the founder of Northern Michigan Woman Magazine. Over the last two decades, she has served women and helped grow their businesses with her workshops, online courses and business masterminds she hosts. You may recognize her from her first publication Grand Traverse Woman Magazine. The tradition continues of bringing women together both in sharing stories and in engaging networking events! Kerry was born and raised here in Traverse City and spends much of her time trying to convince her two (now grown!) kids to go on hikes.

Lori Maki, Account Executive

Lori joined Kerry in the quest of connecting women in 2003….unless you count them also being sisters for 40+ years, than even longer! Lori has a knack for marketing ideas to reach the niche of female consumers for her clients. She moves clients along their marketing goals and helps them develop a strong plan to reach them! She’s a Northern Michigander – raising her family here with a grown daughter, Abbie, and a high-schooler Ben. Her husband Bruce can fix or build anything. And Lori can mix a mean drink on a Saturday night to celebrate an issue gone to press!
